Wing root fillets

After a lot of testing we have finally decided on what we believe to be the very best shape for these.
GXW's fillets look good but they cause a very slight buffet on the tailplane during slow flight with the engine off (nothing when the engine is idling). GZY's fillets are higher and have no buffet at all but they are not as pretty.

The final shape is somewhere in between the two!

We'll be able to provide moulded fillets in the very near future which will cut down on the labour of hand shaping your own.

Kobus, here are pics of the 3 different fillets.
I'll post pics of the mouldings as soon as they are done.

The fillet moulds are done and we have made the first parts. They fit the aircraft very well and look good. I will add them to the pricelist at R2516 + VAT.
