NTCA approval

Post by whisper » Mon Feb 19, 2007 11:31 am

Press release to local flying magazines dated 19/2/2007:

Whisper Aircraft has recently been issued with NTCA approval from the SACAA for it's Motorglider and Express models. This followed a grueling 2 year certification process which included static testing, flight testing and
compilation of the necessary documentation to show compliance with the
European Aviation Safety Agency's "CS22". Russell Phillips and Stewart Clegg are shown below proudly displaying the CAA certificate. Whisper Aircraft were assisted in the certification process by Aeronautical Engineer Francois Jordaan. To date 46 kits have been shipped with 6 now flying and many others very near completion. Shadowlite in George are assembling aircraft for customers who do not wish to do this themselves and are currently busy with 3 such aircraft. See http://www.whisperaircraft.com for more details on the Whisper.

Thanks Mike
It is a relief to have it all finalised. There always seemed to be one more outstanding document or test to be done but happily the authorities are now satisfied. Also good to see your fuselage painted at http://avcom.co.za/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=235063#235063 once it gets to this stage the end is in sight - hang in there!!
