JWN new home in Natal (via FASI)

Post by ollie » Mon Jun 30, 2008 9:47 am

Interesting day at FASI yesterday with three Whispers present. Sean's GAS finally arrived after a gruelling 9.5 hour flight from Paradise into headwinds to join Gray Whitecross. I am now hoping they will breed and I will not have to wait for Shadowlite to complete ZU-OLY!!!!!
Imagine my confusion (yes Mr. Bains - I am easilly confused!) when flying the Falke I looked down to see a Whisper on a trailer outside Sean's hanger. JWN has changed hands and left Springbok for northern Natal. The new owners visited us for Gary Whitecross to do type conversions and for Barry to check out the craft. To cut a long story short the day did not go quite to plan. A combination of a puncture and the air at 5450 feet was to much for the 80hp engine with two up and a full tank
Albert and Cronje were obviously dissapointed but like all true Whisper owners - we are making a plan!!!!!
