Peter's aircraft did its maiden flight yesterday afternoon 9/10/2007.
Test pilot Jean was happy with everything except the "light feel" of the ailerons.
Today they will add the two aileron tabs which will solve this problem.
Due to the large under camber there is a significant "up" force on the ailerons of the whisper. Due to the 2:1 differential the up going aileron overpowers the down going aileron unless a tab is installed on both ailerons (bent upwards on both).
The Grob 109 has similiar tabs for the same reason. The Dimona solves the problem with strong aileron centering springs.
Peter is at George airport watching over his new baby hence the lack of posts from him!!
