Ollie.....................
as Frank Zappa said "a week went by and now it is July (Nearly December)
I have a few Q's:
*CAA Forms - Is it true that Sappi ran out of wood for the paper?
*I hear the runway lights have burnt out?
*Also is it true the Taxi Trials .......ists have been striking and throwing stones?
*Champaigne blew the cork from standing in the sun after the ice melted?
*Zimmer got clearance and did a few touch and goes before being sent off to Oshkosh?
*The "3 week period" has been officially reinstated as the phrase for a "Very Long Time"
*The name of your builder is "Wait and Sea as we dont fly by nite"

Please elaborate?

Bains- now I know why you have big feet!!!!!
1. CAA Forms - only for you guys with short wings! Us guys with proper wings deal with the SSSA. Far more civilised and speedy!!!
2. Don't need the runway lights. The reflection off the paint finish illuminates plenty plenty!!!!
3. Taxi trials. With the Jabi motor and Airmaster prop stones have no chance.
4. Champagne- I've seen you drink and it wasn't champagne my friends. Anyway - haven't you heared of the "8 hour rule???"
5. Zimmer - being a "classic" more suited to Smithsonian.
6. 3 week period - get with the program. It moved from 3 weeks six months ago and has been a "2 week" project since then!!

NO FOLKS. HOPEFULLY TODAY IS THE DAY FOR THE FLIGHT TESTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WATCH THIS SPACE. BAG PACKED AND READY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pics as promised. Sorry I wasn't actually there. Remember the birth of my daughter 28 years ago very vividly. The doc was a family friend as my wife worked in the hospital concerned. He was also a pilot so guess how we spent our time during labour? Child birth not a patch on the long wait for OLY!!!!!!

Look at the concentration. At least I think it is concentration. Could be "at last I am going to see the back of this thing!!!"
