ALF ZIMMERMAN'S PROGRESS
ALF ZIMMERMAN'S PROGRESS
Alf fetched his basic kit just a few weeks back and is making good progress. Alf is based in Witbank and is going to build his Whisper "full time" so we can expect fast progress - watch this space!

Re: ALF ZIMMERMAN'S PROGRESS
Alf is going to test fly and debug before his final paint job - not a bad idea...
Apparently he may be number 14
Keep us posted Alf!

Re: ALF ZIMMERMAN'S PROGRESS
Alf sent through some pics today and says:
" Hi Russell, Just to show that we are still flying and enjoying it. Have flown over 50 hours of which 18 were power-less.
Waiting for permanent ATF. If weather permits we will see you over Christmas week-end.
As you will notice, we made the panel light and simple, and still don’t get lost.
Did some long climbing exercise, she climbs up to 17,000 ft (I stop climbing not ZIM )with no CH or oil temp problems, and on cruising at 75% power and
185 Km/h uses roughly 14 litres mogas
Thank again for a wonderful aero plane
